HOW TO SELL
THE DEFINITVE GUIDE TO GETTING PAID
BEFORE I MASTERED SELLING I WAS JUST LIKE YOU
In fact I was probably worse, in high school I used to get anxiety from having to call the pizza man. I was raised to be very polite and not pushy. And to top it off, I'm from Canada, a country that is professionally polite.
Calling up strangers and asking them for money was not my first career choice, in fact it was my last career choice. My dream was to be a prop equities trader. I had some brief success in that field but it didn't last long and eventually I found myself without any income, transferable skills or even a college degree.
Not making good money was not an option for me so I knew what I had to do. I had to move into the only industry where a guy like me could do six figures: sales. So I sucked it up, put together a terrible resume and somehow talked my way into a sales job. And I won't lie to you, I was scared.
My first day on the floor I was so scared of making my first cold call that I could barely hold the phone.
SO WHO AM I AND WHAT MAKES ME AN AUTHORITY ON SELLING?
My name is Will Freemen and I'm the owner of Revolutionary Lifestyle Design. Since 2012 I've been giving men practical, tested strategies for self improvement, dating and fitness. And unlike the typical online snake oil salesman, my stuff actually works.
For those of you new to RLD, I specialize in actionable advice, which is many times the uncomfortable truth. You might not always like the truth, but the truth is what works in the real world.
And because I'm a lifestyle designer, not a sales trainer, I don't have to bullsh*t you on the dream of selling to get you to buy my next seminar. Because there is no seminar, this book has everything I know and will be the only book I ever write on selling.
The truth is, making a living in sales is not easy, it's f*cking hard. If it was easy, everybody would be making six figures. I've read every sales book on the market but none of them prepared me for a life in sales. So I wanted to do something different with this book, I wanted to tell the truth. I wanted to write the book I wish I had when I was starting out in sales.
WHAT GUYS ARE SAYING ABOUT HOW TO SELL
I just got through Will’s new book on ‘How to sell’ and can’t say I have ever read a more comprehensive overview of the sales industry. Unlike most people who just repeat loads of cliched advice about selling rehashed from others.
Will’s inside experience in the industry really shines through; he holds no punches and breaks down in detail how each sales role has good aspects and bad aspects. If you want the cliffs notes of the sales industry in an afternoons reading I can’t recommend he’s book highly enough!
This book is as real as it gets and is a must read for anyone in the business of selling or thinking about making a career in sales. Will offers an insiders perspective into the world of sales and pulls no punches.
This is a book that sales managers and CEOs DO NOT want you to read because it offers insight that will empower the average salesman to take his career and livelihood into his own hands
How To Sell is an effective tool for any young gun who's hungry to change his life by leveraging the sales world. Will explains everything you need to know clearly and concisely.

Will's info is fantastic, this will be a must-buy.
Will does an unbelievable job of breaking down exactly how to enter your sales career, become a top player, and eventually exit to start your own business.
Regardless of whether or not you want to work as a salesman, the book will open your eyes to what it really takes to sell your way to success.

Once again Will delivers. This book digs deep and teaches you everything you need to know about sales.
This book is the most comprehensive guide on not only how to sell, but about how to be a better man. It has helped me become the youngest real estate professional in Colorado. Thanks so much for making things simple and practical.
What I liked about 'How To Sell' is its raw honesty. I felt as though I was blasted into the inner dialogue of someone who played the game and won. The strategies that are outlined are something you're not going to get from a vanilla sales book you can get at your local library.
This is essentially a blue-print to freedom, and how to navigate through the obstacles in the way to that. Knowing what to expect from the various sales industries will cut your learning curb, possibly by years.
Understanding the cut-throat wolves at the top so you don't end up being their lunch and maximizing your leverage with them. Highlighting the importance of having that ember burning to a larger vision, that keeps the drive going.
How to Sell was a wake up call for me. Packed full of practical info and not glittered with any bullsh*t.
Sure if youve been in the industry a while or you are an avid reader of sales material then you might see some points you already know - while this was true for me it helped me to realise that I had got complacent and wasn't doing those things anymore.
My favourite bit, without giving too much away, is the part about how to structure your day. I feel more productive and 'with that said', the other parts of the book really complement this.
